Tomorrow is the BIG day!! Please make sure that the kids are in bed earlier than normal. They also need a breakfast in the morning and arrive to school on time!The kids and I are excited to be able to share what we've learned and to prove how much we've learned!! Wish us luck!!! ...even though we won't need it!!! We've got brain POWER!!! : )

Weekend homework
Hello! Just wanted to let you know, the kids do have weekend homework. They have to read for 30 mins in their AR books and to study their science journal. Please, remember the pink 1/2 sheets needs to be signed and brought back to be on Monday. There is homework in science next week as well, as we prepare to take the state assessment, STAAR.
Also, there are a very few kids that didn't get their "in class" assignment done and were given extended time. They will have additional homework, of course. I am excited about the opportunity for the kids to show the state what they know!!

SPRING FLING- APRIL 13TH
Parents,
If you are willing to help out the PTA, they are still needing parent volunteers for Spring Fling, this Friday. You are offer as little as 30 mins. or more, depending on you and your time schedule. You'll want to bring the kids anyway. They will have a silent auction, a petting zoo, bounce house, games, carnival food and vendors. Please contact me if you are interested. All monies received go right back into our kids! These ladies have some awesome things planned. Won't you join us?
